Every new 4D InSpec and 4D InSpec XL comes with a warranty of one year. Extended warranties can be added at the time of purchase, or at any time during the standard warranty period. By ensuring you have repair and support for your instrument, you ensure your metrology requirements can be met with little or no interruption.

Warranty Features


Our service department wants to get you getting up and running as quickly as possible. Within your warranty (and extended period), you can receive tech support, advance replacement, and software updates. Extended warranty periods are 1, 2, 3, and 4 years.

Product replacement support

Warranties and extended warranties for 4D InSpec and 4d InSpec XL can include advance replacement as an option: if your instrument needs to be returned to the factory for repair, we can send a replacement instrument head so that you can continue working while we're working to fix your original. Check with your warranty service technician to ensure availability, as replacement support may be geographically limited.

Call center and remote login diagnostics

Our service department wants to get you getting up and running as quickly as possible. We provide phone-based assistance in using your instrument, as well as troubleshooting and remote login diagnostics--where possible.

Software maintenance

Periodically, we may offer an update to software. Software revisions are included in your warranty on request. Some software updates also require a hardware update, which may involve additional charges and possibly a return to factory.
